I love the lake mirror effect.  I'm not quite ready to do something that complicated, but I think it's very pretty.

I love the lake mirror effect.  I'm not quite ready to do something that complicated, but I think it's very pretty.

Brenda, the only thing complicated about that is the number of cuts.  If you do a simple scene or one of Charlies beautiful designs, it is the same thing, one cut at a time.  You drill a hole, insert a blade, you cut out the hole.  Same on all designs.  This one will just take you a few more cuts, and a little longer, well, make that a lot longer.  But you can't do it if you don't try.  I bet you can do it....

Charlie, great design.  What is the price on that one? And do you know the location?

I agree with CuckD , Its just a longer but much more satisfying journey ,one hole at a time . try it  ;)
I tend to do them a bit at a time interlaced with smaller project's so as not to be overwhelmed , and when finished  ;D ;D ;D...Pete
Ps; I only started scrolling  18 months ago ,but sure do wish it was 18yrs ago as i just love it ;)

Just Do It! (with apologies to Nike)

I do it the same way Pete does...I drill 25 to 30 holes and cut them out. Then take a break and do something else for a while and go back and do 25 - 30 more. All of a sudden you are within 50 or 60 holes of the end and can't wait to finish...BUT...take your time, one slip and it can be a disaster...

AND change that blade OFTEN or you will be in deep DooDoo!
