Title: Thoughts and prayers please.
Post by: Russ C on December 20, 2011, 08:10:15 pm
Two of my daughters went to school with this young man and Ashley graduated with him. He has been in our home on several occasions and was loved very much. Such a sad situation and Christmas for his family. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

This was really a sad story.  My son (27 years old) is a police officer in Joliet, Illinois - a suburb south of Chicago.  I worry about him every day.  He told me that if anything happened to him, I should know he loved what he was doing.  As a mother, it is sometimes hard to let go, but we have no choice.  It is such a shame when someone who dedicates his life to helping others is hurt this way.  So terrible.

My prayers are with this young man.  Only God will determine his future.

There is evil in this world we live in and sometimes one of Gods Soldiers has to fall while trying to protect us all.  :)

I have a whole family of cousins that are in the police force.  My heart goes out to his poor family.
