Title: Using Polymer Clay
Post by: Judy Hunter on May 13, 2010, 09:38:04 am
Unless you are using an oven dedicated to clay, the item you are baking should be incased. The fumes from the clay can build up on the walls of the oven and not be so good on your wife's cherry pie.
To incase an item just buy the cheap tinfoil baking pans, set your piece in one, turn the other upside down on top, then clamp the two together with metal clips.

Can you not just cover it in foil?
