I had been told that the 'third mapping' session would be a traumatic one.
Well yesterday I had my third 'mapping' (tweaking session) and it was traumatic alright!
The changes brought so much more clarity and general improvement I lost it again!
It sometimes is hard to believe this is really happening.
Going to a 'concert' this afternoon and I am like a kid waiting for Christmas morning.....

Concert update...Performer was Kathy Mattea...country/gospel singer and three piece backup..guitar, mandolin/fiddle and Full string base (the big one).
The music sounded greater than I have heard ever! Still having trouble understanding the spoken portions mainly because EVERYONE tends to talk too fast but that will improve or so I am told.
The songs she sang that I was familiar with I could make out the lyrics but those I didn't know I just had to be content to enjoy the fuller range of the music itself. Love that mandolin and fiddle! Lead guitar did a few rips that were top notch..full range, low to high and I was right with him all the way!
Then last night I worked my first two high school hockey games of the season.
First game was two smaller schools and rather sparse crowd so everything was fine.
Second game was two large schools and one of them always brings a crowd of 2 -300 LOUD kids and parents! GEEZ does that rink bounce the noise around! I did fine for 2 periods and then had to leave. Was a long day and my hearing was on overload. BUT it was GREAT!

Hi GB, great to hear everything is going well. Bet you haven't been so excited since you were a youngster. Only a few years ago????
Best wishes from Scotland.

Just wait until you hear the crickets in chorus!
I've always loved the sound but the tinnitis pretty much blocks it now.
Happy for you Partner.
