Thought I would check to see if any RBI owners have upgraded from the older a/c motor to the d/c motor. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks RDV

I havn't upgraded mine. Didn't know there was an upgrade. Can you tell me more about it.

Bushton Mfg. who now handles RBI saws has a motor upgrade, contact Nilus Orth for info.

termite, Here is a link to Pozgai's and the RBI blade holder they sell. I don't have them, and have often wondered how much of an improvements they are. I've never seen anyone comment on them either, but I'd sure like to hear from someone who has tried them/ http://www.pozsgaidesigns.com/page0006.htm

I have them on my jr hawk and really like them, using them on the bottom of the jr. requires that the bottom of the blade be cut off between 1/4 to 1/8 inch not a problem for me it is worth the convience and speed when top feeding, I have a friend that uses the clamp on the top only on his g4 and he really likes it also

i am ordering me the top one today i got my saw used and the guy had not ben using it right and now it is broke i have ben useing a zip tie to hold the arm down i am going to order nexed day shiping so i hope i can get you a better post i have a delta q3 with the same clamps i was loven them then the saw burn up now i have the 220vs and it is a lot better it will be sweet to get the clamp i am going to just get the top one i will post win i get them

i have a Delta 18" electronic that i put the quickset 2 blade holders on. they didn't last very long.
$50.00 down the drain. i will call tomorrow about the other blade holders. i might buy one for the bottom blade,it depends on what they tel me about it. thanks for the info.

i purchased item #4 which is for the bottom arm. i have a 220 vs. i cant get it to work on my saw.
has anyone put this on their 220. thanks for your help

i got in the same problem but frank helped me out with it there is 2 diff styles there is a short one and a long one the older 220 has the longer one and the new saws have the shorter ones but i realy like them alotthey are a lot easyer on your hands give frank a call and he will help you out his service is great

ive talked to Frank & sent him a parts list picture of my 220vs. it wont attach to my lower arm.
we'll see what happens
