Title: couple of compound ornaments.
Post by: dunk on October 26, 2011, 07:33:27 pm
Diana Thompson is the designer.  Made these out of poplar bodies, mahogany halos and zebra wood wings.

Very cool Dunk, I like the woods used! How did you do with your mini birdhouses?

Very nice Dunk.  Thanks for sharing them with us.  Guess I need to visit Diane's website and check out the patterns again.

They are unique and nicely done. I think any child would be delighted to have them.

Thank you everyone.  They are really fun to make.

DGman I'm up to 25 bird houses, still need to attach the birds and they will be complete, I may do a few more.  They are fun and quick to cut but do have several steps to them so i do a group in stages.  I also have about 100 ornaments to get completed in the next 3 weeks before a show.  Not to mention some cars and trucks for a donation i plan on making to a local shelter for battered women, seems like they fill up this time of year sadly.
