Title: Buisness card holder and business cards
Post by: tux_linux on October 18, 2011, 03:37:20 pm
So I got myself some of my favorite cards from moo.com (http://www.moo.com) . They are called mini cards (also known as phone cards) and do always attract attention. I don't know how many contacts I have made due to the different size (half a regular business card - double thick card) and the nice graphics. Check 'em out! *

And I build myself a card holder for these cards. I will ship that one to a shop where I will have some stuff presented ( for sale on commission).

* sorry, had to advertise some for them cause they really make great products.

That's a great way to get your name out and also give yourself some credit for the beautiful things you make.  I love the idea of the smaller cards - it gives people something to take home and remember you by.  When they dig in their pockets or purses later when they get home, it will tug at their memory and make them think of your items.  Great idea!

The holder is nice too.  Neat and professional looking.  Good luck with these Torsten and thank you for sharing your idea.

Should make that for my wife but would need a pattern of a camera.

Thanks for sharing

You're welcome Glenn!

The pattern is easier to get: I borrowed the scroll sewer from the Scroll saw Workshop Sign (http://www.stevedgood.com/scrollsign.pdf) in Steve Good's pattern. The rest is basic stuff.

You're right Torsten.
Much easier to get the pattern there.
The problem is that i have to find another reason to go to Germany again.
But no problem, i'll find one.

Glenn.

Christmas time is coming - that's certainly always a good reason:

K?the Wohlfahrt in Rothenburg ob der Tauber (http://www.wohlfahrt.com/)
 Christkindlmarkt in N?rnberg (http://www.christkindlesmarkt.de/)

Wow Torsten

Rothenburg is something to keep in mind to go next summer.
We've been to the black forrest this summer and that was amazing.
But this place looks very nice.
Time to find some "zimmer frei" over there.

Thanks for the tip.
If you ever want to visit Belgium, feel free to ask where and what is nice here to see.

Greetings Glenn, Belgium.

I know belgium quite well, have been over a couple of times. I'm originally from the north-west (Jever/Wilhemshaven). We like traveling west, as we know the quality of those states there (Netherlands, Belgium, France).

But yeah, it's about time for me to come back - must have been at least 6-7years since my last visit in Belgium. I'll come around as soon as you have a new government ;D

Ooohh Torsten i hope you're patient.
Belgium is doing fine without government for more then 1 1/2 year now. ;D
But there will be one in a few weeks... they say. ::)

Anyway, if you ever come this way, let me know.

Greetings Glenn.
