Title: Bad wood day!
Post by: Dawie on October 18, 2011, 03:14:01 am
I'm busy making some ornaments that Sheila designed. When putting the design on wood for stack sawing, I came short on the birch ply and found a piece of poplar that just fitted the bill. Worked for the first 3 ornament, put it has now decide to break on me and crumble, checked the wood and I see small cracks. So arggg, will stop and go search in the hope that I still have something of quality floating around that is 1/8". The weather is wet and cold and I am snotty so best not to go running around to find my wood.
Have a nice day everybody.

Tomorrow is another day David, you'll figure something out. Just take it as a challenging problem to solve you can do it!

I also have cut some patterns out of poplar in the past and accidently dropped them on the basement cement floor.
They didnt survive and broke so now Im using mostly maple.

We all have days that we would rather forget, but the main thing is you learn what not to do again and there's always another day.
