Title: Puzzle Question

For those that make standup puzzles, have you ever used veneered MDF? If so, how do you like it? Where do you get it from? I saw a guy that did some amazing work out of the stuff but have had no luck trying to find information or a source for the stuff. Thanks in advance.

i get scraps from a cabinet shop. they use a lot of it. it usually has cherry on it. i just throw it
away. try someplace like that.
