Title: More Polymer Clay
Post by: chips on May 09, 2010, 08:58:19 pm
Got some Polymer Clay yesterday and got to wondering what kind of glue do you use to put the two halves together before putting in the clay? Got to thinking possibly most glues wouldn't be able to take the heat you need to bake the clay. Maybe I'm thinking to much?  :)

I used Gorilla glue. I was in a hurry so it only dried for about an hour before the oven. I did not have any problems with the glue. I did have a problem with the clay shrinking a little. Mike

Thanks Mike. Am not at all sure whether all glue won't hold up to the polymer clay baking process but will get some Gorilla Glue just to be sure.

Gorilla Glue!!!

REMINDER !

There are two kinds. Be sure to use the Gorilla WOOD glue!

The regular stuff you find in the store will likely make a mess!

Thanks for the reminder GrayBeard. I've never used Gorilla glue so didn't know there's a difference.
