reminds me of my friend, he bought his wife a nice golden bracelet for around her ankle.
a special gift for their 12,5 anniversary.
he went to the hardware store and bought a brass hook, and gave both....
when she asked were the hook was for he said, to screw in the kitchen cabinet so she could stay there....
hahahaha.

.... no the fight didn't start, they still are happily married
