You've got the right idea but there will be a bunch of floaters I think. A simple silhouette of the gun would do just fine.

YGUY I think you would have a pretty hard time concealing that if you cut it from 12" wide stock. LOL

Used an outline that matches the 357 Combat Magnum AKA,
S&W Model 19 - 4"barrel My favorite Double Action of all time!

I think mine will be a tad easier to cut.

As far as changing some things go for it I myself do the patterrns that I do for fun nothing more so I don't get offened if someone changes something on it to make it easier or better I am always learning my goal is to be a s good as Steve or Paul "Granpa" or some of the others on here So I still need to learn alot about pattern Makeing As I said I just fool around with it.....
