Title: measurement system
Post by: Jefferson on May 09, 2010, 09:19:44 am
Hello Steve, I have a doubt with the measurement system, I'm from Brazil and would like to know what kind of measures you use.

Measurements are in centimeters, inches? Type 3 / 4 equals how many centimeters?

If you can answer me I really appreciate it.

thanks

Inches.   3/4 is 3 quarters of an inch ...and so on.  ;)

Since this group is based in the U.S. the measurements are given in 'inches' or fractions of an inch.
1" = 2.54 cm / 25.4 mm

Here is a link to a site that will make instant conversions for you...

Hi there had the same problem. Found a converting table on the internet which is a word doc and don't think it will load here. Here are a few measures to get you going.1/4=6,35mm;1/2=12,7mm; 3/4=19,05mm; 1 =25,4mm. If you need other measures just ask.

My reply!
I'm too darn far past those math and science classes to remember all those conversion factors so I have that link pasted on my "DeskTop" and in my "BookMarks/Favorites!!!
