Title: Sad Day.....
Post by: GrayBeard on September 24, 2011, 01:39:15 pm
We had our 15 yr. old cat put to sleep this morning.
He was always a bit aggressive but he had become downright mean and without provocation so instead of trying to medicate and go thru all the hassle...took two of us 15 minutes this morning to get a half-teaspoon of sedation in him just to go to the vet...we decided that since she said it would only get worse that now was the time...

So Long, Lambert....

I am so sorry.  It is very hard to give up a pet.  My soft feelings go out to you.

truly sad.

Our house tiger had a small operation those days, worked out fine. He's already back hunting mice.

Will you get a new cat? I recently saw pictures of a (small) house swine - could be fun too!

Hey GB, So sorry about your shop cat. He is probably in a better place hunting mice.

My sympathies GB.  WE have always had an abundance of pets, and it always hurts deeply to loose one.

Thanks for the nice comments.

Will probably get another soon.

Our other one is showing signs of being lonesome...
