Hi All
In order to make my poor long suffering wife a little something for putting up with the constant trail of sawdust in the house, I decided I would get good karma if I made a portrait.
But despite my best attempts I just cant get the lines right..
Either it doesn't quite look like her or is just far to complicated, I can't get a balance and smooth it out.
I'm attaching a photo and also my best attempt so far
Can someone please help me ?

Hi Dave, the photo is a bit small to get a lot of detail from and like you i struggled, i don,t think its mutch better than the one you did, it may be of use.........Paul

Hi Paul
Thank you so much.. that's fabulous and exactly what I was trying to achieve.
I owe you several pints :)
I've taken the liberty of stretching the pattern a bit just to give her an instant weight loss of 1/2 a stone or so, not that she needed stretching of course (added just in case she ever sees this post).
Dave.

Hi Ron
Thank you very much for that... now I'm going to have a hard time deciding which to cut first ;D
