Title: Hegner Scroll Saw Clamps
Post by: Reaper on September 10, 2011, 09:46:32 pm
Hey guys, Quick question. I have had my hegner for quite sometime now.I had to replace a few blade clamps over the years. I never thought about ordering a quick clamp, that the top of the blade goes in. Has anyone had to replace theres? Should I order one for a back up?Thanks Dave....

Yes You could go to Mikes and get the one he has on his site http://www.mikesworkshop.com/newprod.htm
It's the one I got from him and they are good.

I got one from the guys at advanced machinery. It has a big silver knob instead of the hex screw. I have been meaning to order one from mike to see how it works. I wouldn't use the hegnar with out the replacement clamp.

Dave and mrsn yes the lever is very easy to use, I brought the big silver knob but it was hurting my right hand the the knurled knob IMO is very rough. I have arthritis and tendentiousness in my hands so the lever from Mikes is a god send. Recommend it.

Thank you mrsn and Merlin. I will order that from Mike today. The knob does get to your fingers after awhile. Dave....
