Title: Christmas Ornament
Post by: bigred7469 on August 31, 2011, 11:45:22 am
I was wondering how hard it would be to put the attachment into a cicrle and make it into a Ornament?  Also what is the rule of thumb on Ornaments 1/8 or 1/4 I can see up and downs for both sizes.  Thanks!!

Well I cut the ornaments from both thicknesses...if there is enough 'cut out' the 1/4" will not be too heavy.

RE: your pattern...One of our Esteemed Designers might be able to do something but you need to post a larger image for them to work with. Maybe do one of each insignia would be better...

Hi Red, Having 3 anchors in 1 ornament will be a bit delicate to cut, i have done just 1 and that will be a bit tricky.....Paul

I talked to him, figured out that these are US Navy UNiform Insignias and found some good pictures to start with -

Come on - show him what you can make out of these! (all 4!)

Thanks grampa.  I'll try to cut it this week.  I'll post a pic if it turns out.

How did you make that patteren?  I'm going to give this one a try and if it works out I'll make Senior Chief and Master Chief ones as well.
