Title: Christmas Ornament Exchange

The 2011 Christmas exchange is coming! If you were not here last year, it was a ton of fun! Go over to the coffee shop and sign up. You don't need to be an expert. All skill levels are welcome. Even if your are a beginner! I received a wonderful set of ornaments from Argentina last year and am looking forward to receive something exciting from you this year. Lets make this bigger than last year, sign up today.

I have one question left:

Am I supposed to exchange ONE ornament - or SOME ornaments? They need to be hanging at a Christmas Tree right?

One ornament that can hang on a tree is the 'requirement'....

Some sent more than one and some sent something else to go with your ornament...

Whatever you want to send is fine...

Kind of hard to get in the Christmas mood when it's 90 degress ;D ;D in Wisconsin but I will definitely sign up again.

Why is it hard? I bought my first Christmas cookies this year today - they are now in the supermarkets. now they are still fresh and tasty *numnum* ;D

We still have Halloween and Thanksgiving to get through before the Christmas items will be out...though a brandy and egg nog does sound pretty good ::)

Whats so wrong in all of that?  We have had hot cross buns for Easter in the supermarkets ready for next Easter.  Now thats commercialism gone completely nuts.

Halloween and Thanksgiving - yeah... That's not celebrated in Germany. Well, Helloween might be adopted in some major cities but not generally.

We have "Sankt Martin" instead on November 11. kids are building lanterns for this and singing songs: St. Martin's Day @ Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Martin%27s_Day#Austria.2C_Belgium.2C_Germany_and_Netherlands)

Thanksgiving is only celebrated in the rural regions.
