Title: Steve's Guardian angels
Post by: scrollriffic on August 26, 2011, 11:56:59 am
I saw these yesterday and had to make a few. I added a little inlace for the the cross. 2 are baltic  birch plywood, 2 are 1/8'' cherry and the darker on is 1/8'' mahogany. The other cuts are from some scrap wood . Bobby

Hey Bobby, Do you think you will have any problem with the inlace staying in the 1/8" wood?

That is what i mostly use. My wife has a cross hanging on the mirror of her car with inlace in it. It has been there for about 2 years and has not come out. We have had 100 plus temps for nearly 3 months and last winter it was in the single digits for a few nights. If you want add a small drop of clear glue to either side after you have finished it and it will not fall out. Thanks everyonr for your comments and thanks Steve for the pattern. Bobby

you're fast. I've set up the pattern, but had no time to cut it yet. Definitely to be done. The inlay looks fine!
