Post by: jimbo on August 07, 2011, 10:47:59 pm
This was displayed by Blackie at the scroll saw work shop that we went to on Saturday it was truly a beautiful portrait of a horse that Blackie had cut and thought I would like to share it with the forum

Yes the frame was excellent I said to Blackie that the frame he made was very complimentary to the pattern and he must have given a lot of thought before making it

Makes it look like an Indian picture on stretched buffalo hide. Tell him he did a Great Job, and used great imagination. Needless to say Gabby really likes! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hi Guys and Girls, yes I am pleased with the way this patten turned out it is a Sue May patten, I love her pattens as they are easy to follow, the skin is RIMU an N.Z.native timber and the frane is Walnut with leather thong to tie it on and a venner backing. thanks for the comments. Cheers Graeme
