Title: how big can i get a Picture Frame Insert????

i bought a 50mm inset at woodcraft but that's as big as they sell. don't know where to find one bigger. and where can you find cheaper mini clocks online? any links would be helpful..

When you say "picture frame insert" do you mean clock inserts? 50mm is about 2 inches. Since you are talking metric, I assume you are not in the U.S. Try www.klockit.com. They have inserts up to 3 1/2".

OK I just checked, they have inserts up to 7 7/8".

I think he's referring to the photo frame inserts like Sloans sells.  Just googling
around I couldn't find anything larger than 2".

i'm in michigan. on the back of the package of the photo frame insert it is 50mm. about the size of a silver dollar. i looked at rockler magizine and didn't see any in there. so i would love to find out if there's any bigger ones out there. i checked klockit and didn't seethe 3 1/2 ones send lind if you find one.........

OK my mistake. Looks like the biggest they make is the 2". For the best price on them and all clock inserts go to www.sloanswoodshop.com.

Okay........ If you can't buy a larger insert why cant you use a clock insert and remove the clock.
Okay it will probably be expensive, but it will get you what you want, just my guess.....
