Title: A Clock & Dragon....:+}
Post by: Danny on August 01, 2011, 05:21:48 pm
Howdy....  Golly Gee it sure is HOT down in Dixie....Whew!
                                Anyway
Here's a couple of Steve's designs.  Had a lot of fun cutting both.
The clock is basic....3/4 pine & 1/2 popular.  This is the very FIRST
time I made a craft with a clock.  The dang thing cost me $15.00
counting S&H!!!!  Awful....  That's the cost for ONLY the clock!  Think
I won't mess with crafts that need a clock anymore.  Oh yea I do two
Craft Shows each year and I would have to put a cost of $30 just to break even.
That's to rich for folks around here.  Anyway I enjoyed cutting the
dragon and kind of made the oval a insert thing.  Came out ok for me.
Okey Dokey....Time to attack....  Later Danny  :+}

Hey Danny, That's some nice stuff there!
Where did you order you clock from? I know you over paid for it. You can get the same insert from www.sloanswoodshop.com for 6.95 plus shipping.

Excellent job Danny.  You should be proud of the clock.  Take it with you to the shows and if folks are interested say that it is by order only that this one was made to show what it would look like.  Thanks for showing us your work.

Very Nice Work, Danny!
Good looking projects!

Now as to the CLOCK insert! You got hosed, bro!
I would bet you got it at Michael's or Hobby Lobby.

Order those suckers from Sloan's or one of the other suppliers when you order BB and blades!

I used some last Christmas in some of the presents I made and bought 6 assorted styles (from Sloan's) and still have two left...heck they don't eat nuthin'....they'll get used soon.

Keep up the nice work!
