I told you all were that hot here I'm in Abilene Texas 107 right now It's so hot in Texas I went down the road to get some ice and Had water when I got home so I had to go back and get some more this time I took the cooler and it has been in the trunk everytime since the bad part is the store is only 10-15 mins down the road...

Holy sh!t. The temp here in WA today was 80* when I came home. I am so glad I dont live in TX anymore.

It was 110 degrees in the middle of Kansas today. We have had 37 days of triple digits so far this summer. The record is 50 days back in the thirties and the weatherman said that he is expecting to beat that record in August.
The highest temperature recorded in Kansas was 114 years ago and we have had at least three days of 113 this year!
Not to mention the lack of rain, which is another subject all together.
KEEP KOOL guys and gals.

I'm going to have to quit complaining about the weather here in South Carolina. High 90's every day, but not as bad as you guys (and gals) are having and we at least have gotten a little rain recently.
-
we had 27C / 80.6F today and that's a really good summer over here.
@ torsten:
the formule is F = C * 1.8 + 32
you forgot the * 1,8

I'm so sorry for losing my cool earlier.. I know it isn't anyone fault about the weather.. It has been very draining and with no rain and the extreme heat, it hurts a bit when folks seem to be making fun of those not as fortunate. Again I am so sorry for my out burst... Sheila in Tx

I didn't see it as an outburst Sheila.
P.S.- 107 today
-
Thanks Marcel. It looked strange to me too but I could not notice it.
I had a BBQ yesterday (first time in 4 month!) ;D
-
Sheila it's good to get it out of your system now and then, the nice part is none of us can reach the other and do physical harm. :)
Living in the Pacific North west isn't all sunshine and lolly pops either. Just a few summers ago visibility in my little valley was about 300 ft from smoke and we were at 30 minutes of warning to evacuate from one of the largest forest fires you'rve ever seen it was the largest in the country that year, it was about 2 miles to the fire line from our house. It was called the Biscuit Fire, and could probably find it in a simple search if you want to look it up. There is so much timber in this part of the world and it gets really dry in the summer. Every time they say thunder storms my antenna go up. I've lost everything to a fire in the past, and you never felt so helpless watching it burn!
Pray for rain for our extended family of FRIENDS!
