I have been spending a little time at the saw but poop out really fast but at least I am making sawdust. Walking is still a problem because of the major swelling in my legs. But I am back and getting a little better slow but sure.

I really think Scrolling makes me feel better. About 5 years ago I had my right shoulder rebuilt and was told to stay out the shop for a couple months....well, that lasted for a couple weeks at best. I found a tall stool (that I still use) that put me at the proper height to be able to scroll by using my left hand to turn and the right thumb to hold onto the wood....sure was happy to get my arm out of that sling. Not it looks like I will soon have to go through it all again...but at least I know I will be able to use the scrollsaw to make dust..

Way to go Judy, glad to hear you're making some dust.
I'm guessing a little walking every day is a good idea, that is what my Doc recommends to help prevent more blood clots in my legs. I know I usually feel better after a session on the treadmill at the senior center, which was one of the primary reasons I joined. I just am not comfortable walking in the woods here any more too many cougars and bears to watch out for. Start out slow and build up time and distance.
Get well girl, everyone is pulling for you!
