Sea Life is an Intarsia I completed using English Walnut, Black Walnut, Aspen and Holly woods. It's approx. 20" Dia.

You are so good at this intarsia stuff. This one is X C Lunt
-
Very nice indeed! Love the finish!
-
Beautiful Al. I don't usually like a gloss finish, But this is beautiful!
-
great job Al as always thanks for sharing
-
Dan, I agree with you, I don't care for a gloss finish on Intarsias either.
On this Intarsia I used Deft, Satin Spray, but the picture was taken indoors using a flash, which makes it look glossy.

Your work is always so breathtaking, it's getting hard to come up with words to express that !!!

Amazing work.. You do such lovely work.. Thank you for sharing it with us.. Sheila

That is an awesome looking intarsia. I particularly like it due to the sea life design. There are so few patterns which capture salt water sea life. I love the manatees in the middle and I wonder if that is your design?

awesome job Al, really cool
-
Fantastic piece as usual. How long did the piece take to complete?
-
Sea Life took about three days to complete.
-
What can I say Al but Great work as always You have yet to let us down with your work..
-
My latest beach scene took about 3 months ??? But I did a lot of contemplation and meditation with some frustration and agitation and finally determination thrown in I got the piece gone. Seems like it took 200 hours but I am sure it only took 150. Thanks
