This can apply to so many on this forum.  A word of encouragement, a word of praise, a funny story.  So blessed to have been given the opportunity to be accepted as a part of this "family".  Marion

Slowcutter there is no way better to say this is home with friend/family. I've never met any of you and have only been here a short time but you all seem like family to me.. big ole Texas hug to you all... Sheila

Yep!
All it takes sometimes is a simple word or even a 'look' to make the burden just a bit lighter and life so much more pleasant.

And boy is this group one for giving words and 'looks'!

I much prefer "FRIENDS" you can pick your friends but you can't pick family, you are stuck with them from birth. Not saying you don't love them but the love you share with your friends comes from the heart and is given freely. Not expected of you due to an accident of birth.

So I'll call you FRIENDS!  ;D

I agree, it is really a comfort to know the answer to your question is probably as close as your computer. This site is so helpful in so many ways.
