This was in my email from HF a few minutes ago...
Hello,
I wanted to take a minute to personally introduce you to one of Harbor Freight's great new tools, the DoubleCut Saw!
Please go to http://www.harborfreight.com/doublecut-saw.html (http://www.harborfreight.com/doublecut-saw.html) to watch a video on this great new product!
Thank you for being a valued customer,
Eric

Anybody tried one of these things yet?

I used a different double blade saw a few years ago to cut the bottom of two metal doors. It did well, but it messed up the blades. I wonder how much replacement blades are?
It does look interesting though! (Although that "no sanding" claim didn't hold true in the video when cutting that piece of plywood. :o )

They used to hock it on TV Saturday mornings. Is this something you are interested in GB?

Only good on thin stuff, would be good for cutting thin ply be nice if it had a guide of some kind, a laser maybe?

hmm, a bit too big for working on our kind of projects ain't it?
Also looks to me a bit dangerous, the blades of that thing can hurt as hell (I recently saw a TV show saying injuries gathered from saws have to be fixed at an average of 110 stitches :o )
But this might be an idea for scroll saws too - 2 blades working together...

I personally would not get near that 'maneater'!
Had enough stitches in my ol' body!!!

If I remember right Sears had one of those.
And as you have probably read there will be no Sears by the end of 2012
Harbor must have got a good buy on the close out stock==add says less than 1/2 price.
Sorry about my ranting, its one of those days.

I got that email also. I probably will not buy it but would be curious to hear any comments from someone that does.
