My daughter did a small project this afternoon.
I forgot to take the camera wile she was sawing, but the sanding and oil finish is caught on camera.
the letters JUF means female teacher in dutch.
it's her trial project for a key chain. she wants to make one for her teacher birthday next week, with the name of the teacher.
To get some experience she made this on.

Your daughter is beautiful. She did a wonderful job on her project. I know her teacher will treasure the one she makes for her. Tell her to keep up the good work.

Very nice to be able to share this with your daughter. Better plan on space for another saw or put up a calendar to schedule who's turn it is!

Be proud Daddy.. I wish my daughters were young again so I could teach them... She did a wonderful job... Thanks for sharing with us... Sheila in Tx

My daughters aren't young enough any more, but had the chance to help one of my granddaughters make something earlier this year. More to come I"m sure.

That is just fantastic!!! You can be very proud of her. I can see another set of tools being purchased.

Your daughter did wonderful Marcell. You do know that you are most likely going to have to buy another saw now:) Thanks for showing us her work.

Hi everyone.
thanks for all the nice comments!
my daughter Yentl (12) gave me a 'gift certificate' on fathers day for making a project together.
then she came that she wants to make one for her teacher, i said: "maybe you should make a trail one first" ;)
so this means we do at least 3 projects together. ;D :D ;D
I have a second saw, but that one has no variable speed.... and therefor I don't like it so much. (and she doesn't to)
but when she wants, she's welcome, I'm glad to share my tools!

That's great to have her scrolling with you. I have taught my grand daughter to scroll and enjoy it when she comes over to cut a few projects. Happy scrolling to you both. :)

Saying goes "like father like son" talent for the beginner, congratulations
-
Great story Marcell, I'm sure you two will spend some very special time scrollsawing...
