Post by: shrimpmojo on April 30, 2010, 03:23:32 pm
I don't know why i get so much tare out when i cut oak ply. Even if i use tape and if i'm stack cutting. I'm also using reverse blades????????

Most likely not enough tension. The blade should not move sideways more then 1/8". Also not enough speed and you do not let the blade do the cutting.
Don'tpush too hard into the blade.

One other thought on the tear out is to try going down a blade size -i.e. if you are using a #7 try a #5 or even a #3 or #4 if you have them.
