Title: Completed Mr. Fixit/Woodworker
Post by: Intarsia92 on June 14, 2011, 03:00:13 pm
Well, here?s the completed Intarsia. I forgot to mention before, I used a real scrollsaw blade on the saw, It?s hard to see in the pictures, but looks real good in the Intarsia.

The first picture shows how I had planned to mount it on one of the doors in my shop; however, my wife saw it there and now thinks it?s too nice to have in a dusty ole shop. She wants me to go ahead and add the background with a frame and put it in the house!  We?ll see?

The second picture is how it would look on a wall without the background.

The third is just a little clearer picture.

The fourth is with the background, which need to be completed and a frame around it.

I hope posting WIP pictures made it more interesting than just a picture of the completed project.

Thanks for all the comments.

Just amazing Al. I can't believe that saw, looks like you could flip the switch and it would run. I wish you would do a video sometime. Great job.

I bet if you could do a video, or suggest one to watch, that shows the process, there would be numerous people on this forum that might try their hand at doing a project ???
As usual your work is an A+ ......

Thanks everyone for your kind comments, I'll think about the video suggestion. Maybe i can talk my grandson into shooting it, he's a semi pro at such things. I just enjoy making the Intarsias, even after nineteen years.
