Hey Steve, a co-worker of mine is retiring in May and, looking through your catalog of patterns for potential gifts, I thought it might be fun to turn your "Depression Fund" design into a "Retirement Fund" design.
I've spent much of this evening going through dafont and a few other sites trying to identify the font you used for that but I haven't had any luck. I am working under the theory that some fonts will work a lot better for scrolling and that the ones you pick are good ones.
I think if I can get a good font, I can use Word's "Word Art" feature to do that stretching business and then just attach that to the rest of the existing pattern.
Thanks!

Hi Becky. it was a font named Rockwell Bold. I went ahead and changed the pattern for you. You can download it from the link below the picture. Is this what you were looking for?

Thanks, Steve! That's just perfect. ;D I know he'll get a kick out of it.
I hope that wasn't a lot of trouble for you but thanks a million for going above and beyond.

Very nice, I grabbed a copy also. Thanks, Mike

Wow, was that ever hard! I definitely need more practice but what I can do now is what I can do now. The letters are a little wonky here and there but at least I didn't break any of them off. Despite its imperfections, I have no doubt he going to love this. The pic isn't great. Problems with both glare and shadows.

He is gonna love it...You did a fine job!

Good job Becky, that will make a cool gift.

It looks great Becky. Remember, you're the only person that sees the pattern so the fact that you "strayed" from it a bit is only known to you. I can't count the number of projects I was going to trash because I'd strayed from the pattern but most of them turned out pretty darned good once the pattern was removed. Keep cutting.

Imperfections are what makes these truly hand made. If we all wanted perfection then we would be doing laser cutting and not scroll sawing.

Thanks everyone. I am happy with it. I know it will just take time, practice and challenging myself with projects like this. It seems like every time I make something new I learn a little bit more and get a little bit better.
