I have my business in the basement and without this lift I would have been out of business for at least 2 to 3 weeks

You still need to take it slow at the start. I, for one, would rather wait a few extra days for ordered blades than have you overdue it. My thoughts are with you. Marion
-
Thanks for being around for us Mike! Like Marion said take you time! I'm holding off ordering for a while, so take your time and heal well!
-
take your time, and get better! But the ride looks fun.
-
I'm holding off ordering for a while, why? You don't have to.
I have a full time helper, who fills all the oders, picks up the mail in the morning and brings the orders back in the afternoon.
I am riding this as a king, just don't tell my wife. Never had it so easy.

I don't think Mike knows how to take it easy. I ordered blades Friday afternoon--Mike e-mailed they were in the mail on Saturday and I got them today--Great service Mike, thanks--Richard aka thumbs
-
Well I too was holding off but not now!
Order on the way tomorrow, Mike!
You look great and I hope the wife is able to keep things running smoothly until you can run up and down those steps again!
God Bless you, Ol' Timer!!!

Hey Mike I'm a thinking it sure beats going bumpety bump on your butt one step at a time. ;D
You can probably use the income too after being away for a while.
Give us an update on your progress from time to time, we're all pulling for you.
I'll be placing an order soon I'm almost through my assortment pack.

Here I was feeling sorry for you, and you are playing supervisor and having fun playing with your new toy !!!!!

Hi Mike,
Glad your doing well. Guess part of it is your roots as they would say in Groningen "Kop er veur" ;) Don't think there is much that will stop you. ;D
Keep well.

I am glad to hear you are are doing better and back filling orders. Wishing you the best on the road to recovery. :)

Glad to hear your doing well. My son saw the picture of you on your stair chair and immediatly thought of the movie "UP". If you don't know the movie there is a scene where the charecter is riding the same chair you are.
I explained you are "the man" who supplies all of us with our blades. He thought that was cool.
Continue to get better!!!

Glad your feeling better, take it easy and don't rush it. Edward

Mike good to see your doing better.. Keep up the good healing... Sheila in Tx

Glad to see you doing well, Mike. That stair lift has to be a lifesaver for you, allowing you to enjoy a somewhat normal life while you heal. Just a matter of time before I'll need one myself. Take care..... John in Seattle

Hi Mike,
I have bean thinking about getting a stair lift, but mine would need to travel at 50 mph, so I can get upstairs before I forget
what I am going up for.
I know what its like ( I have had both hips done ), I am sure I do not need to tell you keep moving, little and often Is the way.
all the best......geoff3

Hi geoff3
That is what I should ask about. I have a little of that problem.
How long did it take you to drive the car?
FD Mike

Good to see you on the mend Mike, slow and steady wins the race...

Hi again Mike,
your question about driving, at the time of both my hip operations I was not driving a car, I was ridding a motor cycle.
Here in the UK we are advized not to drive for at leasr six weeks after the op,and told if we do so are insurance will be null and void.
I felt good to drive after about 4/5 weeks, but the pain in the neck I call my loverly wife was giving me ear-acke about it so I waited until the six weeks was up then I was good to go.
I think if you have an automatic gear box and a high driving seat you could be good to go after a month. but please do not take any risks for the sake of a couple of weeks.......Geoff3

I have my first appointment tomorrow and will give all of you an opdate from the Dr.
I have him almost convinced to by a scroll saw. I showed him some pictures what you can make with it.

Hey Mike pretty sneaky way to get your money back, he'll have to buy all his blades from you of course. Should break even in about a hundred years. LOL
Hang in there and get well soon.

Mike, happy that you are doing so well. I waited until now to make an order but I then decided to wait also until I got back from Alaska. Take it easy and don't push it....
-
Hi Folks,
Came back from the Dr. He gave me an A+. Gave permission to drive again.
Told me not to start heavy work yet but filling orders is no problem.
I asked him if he made a down payment yet on a saw. I told him the cadilac of saws is the Eclipse.
I brought a few fret things with me to give to his wife.
