Hi guys/gals
Yesterday morning I had a table set up at our church to sell stuff after the service. This is the first time I ever did this. It went well and also received some orders. The people were asking how often I was going to do this. So need to check with our youth pastor to see if I could do it maybe say 4-6 times a year. I split the profit between our building fond and meself. Was quite surprised at what I made.
Had many positive responses.

Good show

Well done, David. That reminds me of my first show many years ago. It was at the public school where my kids went. Both the teachers and parents were impressed with the crafts (simple at that time) and sales were good.
That inspired me to do more projects that were more difficult and I could charge more for.
Keep at it.

Congrats David! on a successful first show, I am hoping for the same type of results if I ever do one! It's got to be a great ego boost to know that others actually appreciate the hard work, and the many hours devoted to producing a quality piece of work that others are willing to pay you for. Cash in hand is a wonderful reward.
A toast! "To many more successful shows"!
Again Congrats!

I have had the best luck with sales with my church. There is a church bowling league and I brought all my items around Christmas time (with permission from the league and bowling ally) and they about cleaned me out. Also there is a seniors group that meets once a month and I was the "entertainment" with my wood items and again the sales were wonderful and I got some special orders. People from these kind of private shows still call for items.
