Title: My first pattern
Post by: yankeebum2 on May 04, 2011, 10:21:16 am: With the help from Travis's videos at SSV I made my first attempt at making a pattern. I would appreciate honest feedback. Pattern designers; if you see a something I should have done different please don?t hesitate to point it out to me. I understand pattern looks a bit amateurish; I would not take offense to constructive criticism.

Post by: marmoh on May 04, 2011, 11:13:05 am: Just an idea ... I just added a "ball" to the points you already had inside the eye. (hope that makes sense) ... just go back to your pattern in Gimp and play with it until you are satisfied.

Post by: TomC on May 04, 2011, 01:38:54 pm: I just got a copy of GIMP and am starting to try to make patterns from photos. Great example of how to get started. Much better than the first one i'm trying to do.
