Love the box but I have a couple of questions.
Did you cut it as you would a band-saw box out of a large block or is it built up from pieces?
If the former how the heck did you cut a block that size on a scroll saw? :)

The box is made up of 6 layers two 1/4 in oak layers and four 3/4 in. layers. Each layer had to be accurately cut so that it could be assembled without having to do much in the way of sanding. Being as the whole thing was done on a scroll saw that has a max 2 in. cut I had to glue all the layers together to make it.

Thanks for the quick response DW. I suspected that was how you did it as I couldn't see any other way of using a scroll saw with the dimensions you gave. You did an excellent job of mating things up.
