hello to all my friends
I can not make work.
I had an accident with my circular saw and had to get stitches in my fingers
Greetings to all and hope to be back soon
-
Frank, so sorry to hear that, get well soon and take this time to take a well deserved time off from your woodworking. Thank God you did not sever any fingers. Keep us posted on your recovery.

Sorry to hear about your accident Frank. Take it easy and let it heal properly. Good luck.

Something that we all dread is getting hurt. Hopefully Frank you make a full recovery and we'll see your future work here. You've got some great projects and ideas, so hopefully when you're better you can continue with them.
-
Ick! I don't like to hear that you are hurt. I hope you recover quickly and can get back in the shop. About 5 years ago, when I was in college, I got cut on a table saw it is no fun.
-
Hope you heal up quickly Frank!
-
Frank sorry to hear of your mishap. Guess we just get careless or unlucky at times. Ran my thumb through a router four or five years ago, still no feeling in the tip, but it healed and no real problems. Just take care of the injury and get back in the game as soon as you can.

Circular saws and table saws always scared the cr*p out of me. Took me a long time to get where I could use one without freezing up.
Get well soon amigo.

Frank, hope you get well soon and return to the "game" soon. I'm sure you will use your time creatively coming up with new project ideas. Good luck.
-
So sorry to hear about your accident. Hope you have a fast recovery so you can get back to your saw. :)

Hope you get well soon.

Frank,
You'd be surprised how many of us have done things like you did. I nearly took off my thumb on a table saw a few years ago and I felt like the dumbest person in the world. Then I began hearing stories about people with far more experience than I that did the same or worse than I did. Accidents happen and it is almost always when we let our guard down. The positive is that it makes us a lot more carefull in the furture.
Good luck. I know you'll be making stuff again soon and I bet you even find a way to do it one handed for a while.

Sorry to hear that Frank. Make a speedy recovery. Get well soon!!!

Frank, hope your fingers heal quickly, close calls always reassert the need for close attention...
Maybe you will work on patterns in your off time?
Bruce ;D

If you did that to your own fingers what would you do to someone elses? ;D Besides you still have 7 or 8 good ones. That is the lighter side, Did I make you smile. :D Seriously, I hope you have a complete recovery. My greatest fear is getting caught up in a saw or router, burrrrr at the thought. I get the chills when I think of it. You are down at the moment but not out of the game.
Good luck ;)

Hi Frank,
one of the drawbacks of not being around on the forum much, is that I missed your post.
I'm sorry to hear about your accident.
You wrote about stitches, do you know of there is internal damage on nerves, or is it "only" a flesh wound?
wish you a quick recovery!
