Severe storms and tornadoes in our area...Airport hit and is shutdown indefinitely.
Tornado went just north of our place and then slammed into the airport.
OK here but it was a scare!
Never even lost power or the Uverse signal.

GB haven't seen the news yet glad to hear you dodged the bullet.
Do you know where Chadwick is? Spent the summer I turned 16 there on Bull creek, went through some of those "cyclones", no thanks!

GB We dodged that one yesterday our selves glad to hear Y'all are alright down there we got kinda worried here ourselves.... Let's just pray they keep away from both of us...

I saw the news last night and wondered if that was close to you. Glad to hear you are OK. Our tornado season is just about to begin. We usually get them in May and June.

Was thinking about you when I saw the weather forecast. Glad to hear everything is OK.....
-
Glad you're OK GB, I went through two tornados in Mich. and one large earthquake here in Ca. and I'll take earthquakes anytime; at least all your stuff stays in one pile, not spread all over the county.
-
Glad to hear all is OK GB. We don't get that type of weather here in Eastern Ontario with the exception of ice storms.
-
I sure appreciate everyone's concern and thank you all for prayers.
Lots of heavy damage around the area, whole subdivisions wiped out, etc.
Just heard the airport should be about 70% functional by sometime tomorrow. Biggest problem is getting power back to all the main substations.
Miraculous that there were NO fatalities! Weather service personnel virtually cannot believe that we sustained this devastating storm and lost no lives.
Please continue your prayers for those who lost virtually everything they own or it is scattered far and wide.
Happy Easter to all of the Christian persuasion!

down here visiting from Wi, I think those consarned tornadoes are following me, luckily my dau. house survived as well, we were in the theater when we had to leave and stand in the hallways
-
Sounds like what we had here a few weeks ago. Neighborhood tore up, I had a big oak tree come down in my front yard. We didn't have power for a week. A tornado also touch down at the airport four miles from my house while the Sun & Fun Fly In was going on. Damaged twenty eight planes and injured some people.
Glad to hear you are ok and survived it. ;)

They were just showing on the news, video taken at the airport during the storm ... so lucky (blessed) that no one was seriously hurt.
-
Glad your ok and not many people were injured. Could have been worse. We are drowning in my parts. Yesterday was the first day I was able to get out and drive around the Ozarks and take pictures of flood areas not on the news. LOL. But that is me!

Hey GB!
The news this morning (European morning) about your Wednesday do not sound good. Is everything ok over there in the alley?
