Well, I have them cut and glued togather. I am waiting for my Inlace to
arrive, to finish these. They are a lot of work cutting, and putting togather,
But will look great when finished...Thank's Steve for a nother great pattern
project.........I would put a price of $4.00 each, I hope they will stay togather with being Glued.

I got my Inlace from Woodworkers Supply. The same $29.95 for it that Steve mentions in his video but they tack on $7.95 for shipping so you might want to try and find someplace cheaper if you can. Or locally! I couldn't find it locally and going any place that MIGHT have it would cost more in gas than the shipping WS wanted.
Got three done except for the sanding and finishing.

........... Mike, I found this site about Inlace http://www.inlacebook.com/text/products/inlace-kits.html
-
That is a great site and they have honest fair shipping prices. Thanks for finding that for me/us.
A person could spend a bunch of money on that site.
James (or anyone else with experience with inlace) what kit and/or add ons have you found to be a good all around basic way to start?
-
James,
Here's those pictures of my Steve Good keychains I made up that you wanted to see. The front is resawed Maple and the back is also resawed Purpleheart, and the Inlace is the same Turquoise that Steve used in his video on his blog.

Instead of Inlace, I have used water puty mixed with Delta craft paint instead of water.
A lot of colors. Larry
-
Larry,
That is one of the handicaps in using Inlace. Not a whole lot of colors to choose from. But, this was my first crack at this sort of thing, so I imagine there are many ways of doing the same thing with other products. Unless someone just can't live without one of these key chains I probably won't be making anymore of them unless I do some generic ones for the next church bazaar. Next project is Steve's tissue holder as a gift to a friend of mine.
-
James and Pete, very nice job on the key chains. I haven't tried them yet, but will come summer. I can get inlace at Grizzly tools in Springfield if I wanted to drive.
-
Thanks Cherie. Appreciate the compliment.

I was not impressed by Texas Knife. They took my order for inlace and it took them another day to realize they did not have any. I ordered from turtle feathers.
-
Chips they turned out great in my book ............
