ok i may just being cocky but is there a really hard pattern to cut out there with a western theme some thing that will take about i dont know 25 or 30 hr of cutting
or maybe a project that involves inlaying and wood bending and some fret work in it

Take a look at Steve's Pattern Catalog and the portrait of Sitting Bull.
I won't say 20 hours but it will test you skill and patience!
And whatever else you do STACK cut it!
Also look at Charlie Dearing's patterns...They WILL tax your abilities!

mike williams has some Native American patterns in that 20 hr range they look awesome when done

hey GB i'm cutting that one right know but it's going to take some time to finish only have about
1 1/2 hrs aday to work on it

just looked at the cover of the january 2008 issue and not not filling that cocky lol that is a very hard looking pattern and i think it will just make me go nuts lol

Saw one with 1400+ cuts!!!

Mike's patterns are beautiful! I've got "Time to Rest" in my queue to be a Christmas gift for my Dad! Gonna take quite a while. You might want to check out out the Wooden Teddy Bear site. They've got some advanced portraits that'll definitely challenge any scroller's skills.

Old Griz (Tom Mullane) has some nice Western patterns on his page ranging from easy to challenging.
Not sure if he is still active with his pattern making anymore, might want to email him first to check.

WOW!! There are some fantastic designs on that site. :o
