This is a box I made for a customer he wanted it to put his dog's ashes in, this one of a number of unusual requests I have had of late, note the hole in the front handle that is to nail the coffin closed, I gave the customer a copper brad to seal it.

What an unusual request. You did an excellent job on that. The copper brad was a great touch. Thanks for showing us.

Very nice, Jimbo...Now scale it to a larger size and visit your local morticians and see if you can sell them on the idea! It might open a whole new 'market' for you!

Such a wonderful resting place for a cherished pet.

Good job, with a little modification it would make a neat lockable jewelry box too, and you could decorate it in many ways. What would also have been nice would have been an image of the dog on the top. Just a suggestion.

Great job on the box. A friend of ours had there dog's ashes also placed in a nice box, but instead of a nail it had a brass clasp and mini brass padlock to keep it secured.
Thanks for sharing.
GB...good idea for the top of the box.

Can't take credit for that! That was "Gabby's" idea!

Opps, sorry, I meant Gabby.
Good idea Gabby.

Don't mention it. As long as the suggestion made it out there I don't care who gets the credit.
Anybody but GB that is. LOL ;D

Maybe the dog's name could have been on the box.
