This is for the Japan relief Quilt being put together by the ScrollSaw Woodworking & Crafts forum. It is a 4x4" square of 1/4" maple with a backer of 1/4" Baltic birch. Cut with an Olsen 2/0R blade. The backer is painted black. Finished with Deft semi gloss spray lacquer.

Thanks everyone. This was a fun project to do. I sent it out a couple of days ago and am looking forward to seeing the completed quilt.
I plan on doing a full size version very soon.

Dan, it looks like a very delicate piece to work with. Your work is always perfect. The problem is you keep raising the bar. Please slow down and let some of us catch up :)
