on Saturday night!
There's a full moon Saturday but it won't be just any old full moon. It'll be bigger and brighter.
It will appear larger as it makes its closest approach to Earth in nearly 20 years.
Scientists estimate the "supermoon" rising in the east at sunset will appear 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter at its peak.
It will be more than 221,000 miles away ? the closest to Earth since March 1993.
Good night for Sparkin' and Spoonin' and Courtin' ! ! !

My sparkplug won't spark, my spoon is bent, and the last time I was in court the judge threw the book at me. LAMOJ (laughing at my own joke)
I think I'll stay in and pester everyone here on the forum, that will be fun.

My wife was a nurse in a retirement home and also worked with the mentally challenged (not to be disrespectful) she said you could always tell when there was a full moon without looking outside.
-
We noticed it when we where leaving Green Swamp after the Family Outing. It was beautiful. :)
-
It was overcast here in Southern California, Could not see it! :(
-
Overcast here too!
But woke up at 4:00 a.m. and there it was...almost bright as day!

It rained all night, no luck seeing it. :(

I should have known about it earlier, Friday night it was clear and bright but I didn't go out and look. Last night it was overcast and rained later here in Southern Oregon.
