Title: My day
Post by: cherie on March 17, 2011, 07:43:43 pm
My day started wonderfully with me getting up at 5am.  (usually about 8 or 9 am) But I got my coffee, ate breakfast and watched the black and white version of Long Days Journey Into Night.  (a play by Eugene O'Neill and whom I did my presentation on)  Of course I went about taking care of the animals, started laundry and everything else.  Then I decided I needed to quit thinking about classes and work on an order.  Well guess what.  I got only one letter cut out when my saw quit.  it just stopped and buzzed a bit.  Called Jaun and he had me look under the saw only to find the belt had broken.
Then the day only gets better.  He had to talk me through to replace the belt.  Well after 4 hours or so, on the phone, cuts and bruises, its fixed.  A small amount of yelling and a good cry when I had heck getting the belt onto the motor (a few choice words here and there).  But she is fixed and running and very little vibration now that I have the weights evened out again.  LOL.
Then the next few hours having "sissy time" with my sister.  Now I am cooking Chicken and rice and my evening will get better.  Looking forward to the trip to Saratoga Springs, NY for the woodworkers show next week.
Have a great rest of the week and a better weekend all.

That's what that noise was I was hearing!  Couldn't tell where it was coming from!   :D

Glad you got it fixed!

Yep...that's what ya heard.  Jaun is proud that I did not totally loose it.  I felt like it, but I tried my darndest to keep it under control.
