Title: Help with pattern

I need help to make this pic inta a pattern.
I tried to use gimp but could not get it figured out.

James, I will try to help but please make the picture much larger so I can see the detail.  If it's scanned in, scan it in as large as possible.  My email is artistic_cowboy30@yahoo.com

I thought I would make this as a surprise for my folks.
I made them the americas pride clock a few years back and they loved it and has it hanging on there wall in the familyroom.

Thanks everybody.  Newfie, I do it on paper and scan it in to my computer to clean it up and color it in.  The design is on paper, cleanup and color is in paint shop pro 4

Yes less than 4 minutes between Charlie's posts. I think he is a super computer disguised as a cowboy!
