Title: Back to square one
Post by: marmoh on March 12, 2011, 11:30:46 pm
Well I went to change some items in my profile, and somehow screwed things up and had to re-register. >:(  I was a "Senior" ( in more ways than one ) and now I am a "newbie" again.  I have so missed being able to be a part of the group.  My life for the last week was so bad I actually had conversations with my hubbie instead of just sending him emails !!  I promise to be good from here on out and will never, ever, make a change unless I am 100% sure I am hitting the right button.  So look out as I have to make up for lost time and get back to the Senior level and beyond  :o

Marion..I am guessing that your former records are still buried in the database somewhere.

Hope Russ or Steve can find you and do a 'restore'. But if not think of all the fun you will have getting back!

Well. might be the button that says: "Delete this Account". I'm pretty sure, there is a "OK/Cancel" thing behind this.

@ marion
If you'd ask me, I would make the message count invisible for members. There is no real information behind the count of posted messages. It says nothing about a user. I know a lot of forums, where the count is already not visible.

regards
Torsten

Sorry, as far as I can tell all the information was deleted, so I can't help. Steve has more access to the database the I do so send him a personal message and see if he can help.  8)

Dan ...  3 down 250 to go !!  Will have to stay on here 24/7 for the next month answering every post !!!  Just glad to be back and the numbers don't matter at all.
Torsten ... you actually think I would trust myself to go back and touch anything ???
Russ .. like I said the #'s mean nothing ..  the friendship and sense of belonging is all that matters.
GB .. haven't picked on anyone lately so look out !!!
Judy .. if I knew where that button was I would have pushed it years ago !!!
