Here is an article I found about Missouri banning the import of some walnut products. I found this interesting since I live in the state and love to cut dark walnut when ever I can get a hold of some. Let me know your thoughts.

Sounds like they're just trying to protect the living trees in the state, first I heard of it.

This is actually the first year I have heard of it myself.

It won't affect any kiln-dried lumber. You will still be able to order from out of state.

This is new to me also Cherie , .......I use a lot of Walnut when I can .......sad...sad .......

I do not really consider it sad since they are trying to protect Missouri Walnut. It may however drive the price up. Do not know yet. But as Paul pointed out, we can still purchase kiln dried lumber with no bark.
