Title: GB ... are you OK ??

Just saw the weather about the problems in ST. Louis ... just checking in to make sure you are OK.

There are a lot of power outages in the St. Louis area. Most storm damage is south and east of GB.

We are fine here!

Major 'hit' was south of our area. Lots of trees down and resulting power outages. Some damage to homes from winds and cars with trees and power lines falling on them.

I barely got even high winds and stood outside until rain started blowing. Saw one shingle in the driveway but not from our place and could have blown here from God knows where.
Got lucky once again!

BUT that is life in 'Tornado Alley'!

That's good to hear (read) GB We got some strong winds and few of the trees around here got ripped right out of the ground so stay safe friend.

Thank you for the concern But when you live in texas Wind is something you get used to  the thing that worried us last night was the wild fire it burned over 5000 acres and they had to evac whole towns.
  With the wind it was heading right for our area But Thankfuly the courages Firefighters got it under control.. They are some brave souls.

GB and Chachi, glad to hear your both alright...I was going to message you via FB to find out how things were up that way after reading the news this morning.  We had a lot of wind and rain here, enough to flood the front of the house...again, but that is it.  Did not even see or hear lightening until just before I left the house this morning and then heard West Plains had hail. 
Like GB says, that's life in the Ozarks.

Our house is at the back of the property behind the pond, so when we have much rain, it over flows and you can't step off the porch.  lol
