The 22", at $425, would be a great buy for anyone that could pick it up, but, I think the price is too high for the 14".
-
The higher priced one is in a VERY affluent neighborhood so it doesn't surprise me that they are trying to milk it for everything they can get out of it.
I seriously doubt that they will get their asking price!

I agree with ALl, the one for $425 is reasonable priced. it's with a variable speed and a mag. light.
The $700 is way to much, that thing is so old it doesn't have a quick release.
That type probably cost that much new.

Agree with you guys. The second saw is overprized.

Didn't you know, a HEGNER is never overpriced. :)

Hi Marcellarius,
I like your aviator picture. That blue cap looks good on you.

I wear it proudly Mike!
although I have to explain to my wife and children why I do.... 8)
sometimes I'm at the saw with my birds on my shoulder and they keep going to my cap and want to destroy the FD....

I missed that $425 Hegner 22 in St. Louis by hours. All I want is a 22" Hegner scrollsaw for a decent price, that I can spend some quality time with my 8 yr. old daughter, making puzzles. She's very good at puzzles. If any of you sees one come up, preferably within 5 hrs of Kansas City, would you please notify me. I am often on the road and unable to check the internet as frequently as I need. Many thanks - William Spier (william.spier@autodesk.com)
