Hey Al, That's really neat! Excellent job.
Where do you get your blue pine?
-
Dan, I get my Blue pine from "TheHansomeWoodman.com
They usually have a very good selection that you can look through before you buy. Each picture shows the actual piece, size and price. Also, they are very friendly and helpful people to order from.

Thanks Al!

I have done intarsia, and I thought it was good. Not any more, Great one. I bow to you mastery of the wood. Mine stays hidden. ;D

Great ones Al! Dan

From what I've seen of your work I hardly expected anything less from you. Great job!
Now for a OLD poor boy, you need to do it with a galvanized tub, I was the last after my 3 older brothers. I think only the top layer was washed off. Brings back memories.

Absolutely beautiful work, Al...may I ask how long it takes you to doa project like Country Folks? I absolutely LOVE that piece and would like to try it one day when I am proficient at this art...as of yet I have not made a single intarsia but that will soon change...I am going to try the teddy bear at intarsia.com...wish me luck and patience...
