Post by: Dawie on February 22, 2011, 01:45:52 pm
If you go down to the woods today..... Don't get lost in here.

The world's largest forest is in northern Russia. It is located between 55 degrees North Latitude and the Arctic Circle {Siberia}. It is a coniferous forest. It covers a total area of 2.7 billion acres.

Just imagine the amount of football fields you can fit in there. I tried to work it out. A football field is at average1,32 acres so devide the forest by that and I get 2045454545. So it's mighty big!
